Help for Drivers: Apps to Open and Start Your Car
One of the commercials that describe the development of the new Dodge Dart - the longer version at least - includes the line "Give it a smartphone app that can start the engine." Little else is known about the app yet and it is not yet available for download either. However, with the app, Dodge joins Chevrolet in offering their drivers a very useful tool, assuming it will unlock the car as well. The myChevrolet app, of course, is a byproduct of OnStar and makes use of a vehicles remote start feature, if it has one.
